Hillcrest Beach..::Prequal::..Hillcrest Estates was founded by former Olympian Alexandra Sterling, 1952, 1956, 1960, and 1964 Summer Olympics. Alexandra was the first woman to compete on the UK Equestrian team, and was also the first women to win a gold metal in both Dressage (1952) and Show Jumping (1960.) After an outstanding career in the show world Alexandra founded Hillcrest Estates in the summer of 1972. It was her dream to have a place where every discipline, every breed, every type of person could live in harmony. While she only trained in Dressage, Show Jumping, Driving and Side-Saddle; she held great respect for every discipline. So when she was diagnosed with bone cancer in the fall of 1971 she knew that if she ever wanted her final dream to come true she'd have to act quick. She bought up as much land as she could on the south east coast of Florida and quickly started getting to work on founding the city. December of 1972, only five months after the city was founded, Alexandra died. She never got to see her dream fully come to life, but construction on the city didn't stop. In 1976 the city was officially finished and was ready for it's first residence to move in. ..::Chapter One::..Hillcrest Estates is now a prime location for horse owners, and the Equestrian Center in town in ranked number one in the United States. From the center's humble beginnings in 1978 it was the stable staff and owners who created the state of the art facility that it is today. With proven sires, and top show horses there isn't much else you could need here. There are facilities for every discipline, the finest trainers, medical care and of course life changing connections. Small stable shows have turned into bigger shows attracting the elite of the show world, and the breeding program has brought in some of the top studs. There is something for every horse lover here, even if you do not own a horse, there is a place for you in Hillcrest Estates.
